Season one will add more lore for the game though so it’s possible that NPCs shown in this new story content could be made playable in season two. There’s no word on if or when Hyper Scape will add more playable characters in future seasons, adding to the quite diverse pool of characters that are now available. Ubisoft will also be added a 100-tier Battle Pass (free and premium) because Hyper Scape is a free to play game and it has to be turned into a cash cow somehow. Hyper Scape players can also expect a new weapon called the Dragonfly and a new hack (the character abilities that can be picked up around the map) called Magnet. Hyper Scape season one, which Ubisoft is calling “The First Principle,” will add multiple limited-time game modes (though these haven’t been detailed) and a melee event which makes melee attacks “instantly lethal.”
When the game re-launches on these platforms, it will come with the game’s first season of content.

The free to play battle royale game had been in open beta on Windows PC though this beta will end on August 2 ahead of the full launch on August 11. In a post on its official site, Ubisoft confirmed that Hyper Scape will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on August 11, 2020.
